Not So Little Fawn
Monday, September 12, 2022
In the yard this morning - this is the same fawn that was peeking out of the bushes in last Friday's photo. About 4 months old, I'd say, with just a hint of white spots left on the flank.
The mother has been visible throughout the spring and summer but we've had only fleeting glimpses of her fawn.
Lately they both appear regularly and somewhat boldly to eat the apples and black cherries that fall from the surrounding trees.
I don't see any sign of antler growth so I'm guessing this is also a doe.
