Sunday, March 6, 2016 Baldr & I had a late afternoon walk in the woods today. The red-winged blackbirds are trilling in the bog, early this year. It looks and feels more like late April than early March. Sunday, February 28, 2016 By the calendar, spring is still some three weeks away, but Baldr found it necessary to leap the open water at the ice clad brook today.
Saturday, February 27, 2016 There is no snow in the woods - or anywhere for that matter, a rarity in February. The brook however, swollen after last week's rain, is displaying some nice ice formations.
