Bear In the Woods

A bear has been showing up with some regularity lately. Though I haven't seen it, I know it is coming to eat fallen apples because it deposits a calling card on the ground. If it comes when the dogs are out, Baldr scents it right away and goes bonkers wanting to go after it. Belle follows suit. Today, towards evening, Baldr sent up the alarm and we could hear the bear crashing in the woods. Fortunately the dogs were contained on the deck and I managed to catch them here between barks.
