Friday, April 29, 2011 Mr & Mrs Mallard I came upon them unexpectedly during a short walk before supper, although I've suspected that they were nesting somewhere in the wetland. Of course they knew I was coming well in advance and didn't hang around, but I did manage to squeeze a quick, representative shot as they headed for cover.
