Friday, December 31, 2010 Ringing Out the Old My first attempt at burning one of the many brush piles was a mixed success. I failed to get tarps over them before it snowed, so just getting this one going was an accomplishment. But heavy snow on green wood makes for a difficult burn, and what should have taken a few hours turned into an all day affair, with most of the pile remaining for another day.
