Monday, May 23, 2011 Common Lilac Right on schedule, the lilacs are blooming. I've only found purple as yet, no white.

Sunday, May 22, 2011 Snowy White in May This pair of apple trees are putting on a good show lately. They are so beautiful I almost wish they would blossom all summer, but soon, their petals will litter the grass with a soft carpet of white. First lawn mowing of the season today. I have a self-propelled lawn mower - propelled by *my-self* that is - and lots of lawn, Yikes.
