Moonset At Sunrise

Friday, October 10, 2014 Across the street at sunrise this morning. The Ashuelot River, not visible, runs just below the trees. It just occurred to me that yesterday marked the four year at home anniversary. So this gallery officially ends today and a new one, Year Five, begins tomorrow.

Thursday, October 9, 2014 Almost every morning I drive by this scene and then again in the evening. This morning I was fortunate to catch the moon before it set behind the treeline. Exposure was for the bright moon thus the foreground trees, which the sun had not yet reached, were dark and had to opened up considerably in post process.

Who's Clever?

Saturday, August 23, 2014 I saw Baldr with his head buried inside this bucket and thought it would make a great picture. But by the time I retrieved the camera, the bug that held his interest had escaped along with the photo op. Thinking I was clever, I dropped a dog cookie into the bucket hoping to recreate the scene. But Baldr, knowing that the bucket was too deep for him to reach the cookie didn't even try, deciding instead to tip it over asap.
