Tuesday, March 27, 2012 Taking Shape This two shot panorama taken this evening shows the progress of the future horse pasture. Much brush has been eliminated through burning this past winter and plenty remains to pile and burn before the stumps can be removed. But for the time and effort invested, the progress is measurable and satisfactory.
Sunday, March 25, 2012 Rocks & Mud Rocks are Marlow's most abundant crop. Yesterday I raked bushels of them from the area where the ditch for the waterline was dug last fall. This is in preparation for seeding grass here to prevent mud and erosion. There is enough mud in the horse paddock, visible at the top of the image. I'm still amazed at the lack of snow cover.
