Thursday, February 2, 2012 Happy Groundhog Day Baldr thought that if he went outside today and saw his shadow that it would mean six more weeks of winter. I tried to explain to him that the shadow thing only applies to groundhogs but he decided to play it safe and stayed inside to guard the laundry instead.

Wednesday, February 1, 2012 Sailing Along February begins as January ended, with exceptionally mild weather. The temperature approached 50 F today. Tonight the sky is full of drama with clouds, stars and the moon, which appears to be sailing like a ship among the clouds. This image is a 4 second exposure, handheld, and I like the effect.
