Saturday, September 26, 2015 Ian & I split three of these massive cherry tree chunks today, It was all we could do to lift one on to the splitter. Buried inside one of the chunks we found a slug from a gun shot and also a metal bracket, ingrown and embedded as the tree grew around it over many years. Pretty sure that bracket is responsible for destroying the bar on the chain saw.
