I am a photographer living and working in Cheshire County, “The Quiet Corner” of New Hampshire, an area rich in natural beauty and classic New England scenery.

My primary pursuit is Landscape and Nature photography but I am also available to photograph dogs and their owners, horses, and weddings.

Although I shoot digital, photography remains a deliberative and meditative process, my goal being a natural and informal representation of my subject. Great images cannot be hurried, but I am constantly alert for the candid, decisive moments of life.

In process I am primarily concerned with artistic expression and conveyance while recognizing and employing the supporting technical aspects of photography as a means to the artistic end.


My equipment includes Olympus and Nikon D-SLR bodies and an assortment of high quality lenses.

Post processing is performed in Adobe RAW and Photoshop.

I am a strong proponent of doing it right “in camera”, however, because I shoot exclusively in RAW format, this allows me to exercise decisive control over white balance and shadow/highlight levels prior to image conversion.

Image adjustments are typically minimal and may include cropping, shadow/highlights, curves adjustment, and sharpening.

At present, printing is performed exclusively through a professional lab on Kodak paper, providing for consistent, high-quality and long-lasting prints.
