Full Circuit
October 9 marks the one year anniversary of our move-in day. Much has happened in our first year, including significant weather events and changes/enhancements to the property. Much remains to be done. Today I bring the First Year gallery to a close. The Year Two gallery begins tomorrow!

A frosty start this morning to what turned into a lovely day with sunshine and blue skies. The forest canopy is thinning a bit, but peak fall color is expected here this weekend.

Not Raining
We had a day of mostly sunshine today for the first time in a week maybe. Baldr celebrated by jumping over a fallen tree with a stick in his mouth.

The apples are dropping at a steady rate. We had not seen the doe for awhile until this morning when she appeared for breakfast under the tree.

Mount Monadnock
Mount Monadnock sits on the horizon beneath an intriguing cloud bank. Monadnock is a Native American (Abenaki) term referring to an isolated hill or mountain.
