Ian stands atop Little Haystack mountain last Thursday.
At 4800 feet, Little Haystack ranks as the 23rd highest mountain in New Hampshire, but is not included on the AMC list of NH 4000 footers due to its less than 200 foot prominence.

Franconia Ridge
Ian and I both took the day off to go hiking in the White Mountains. The Falling Waters trail took us to Little Haystack Mt (4800 ft far right) then along the ridge to Mt Lincoln (5089 ft center) and Mt Lafayette (5260 ft left) then down the Old Bridle Path from which I took this panormic retrospective of our 9-mile loop. Not a bad way to spend the 49th. View this at X3
